Camera Club-August

Lle de Re – submitted by Brian Ross

Notes from Augusts gathering:

Almost a full house on Tuesday 14th August when we gathered to look at Back Alleys, Favourite Pic of the month and some holiday snaps!!

We drank coffee and ate Margaret’s birthday cake – and sang!!!

Some of us will have some pics to hang in Caxtons’ exhibition on 2nd September – the photographs will be on display for two months.

Geoff was getting to grips with his new camera – we told him to ditch the instruction booklet (tome) and stick to You Tube to see how it’s done.

We all felt that the project – Back Alleys – was quite a challenge, despite visiting towns and villages that have many: picking just the right one to photograph proved difficult, but as you will see from the Cube, we did fairly well.

Turn, drag the cube with the mouse then click on any of the images on any of the cube faces to see the picture in full view or to view the whole album.

Next month’s meeting is 11th September when the images being viewed will be of Body Parts…..any body, any part! Now that will prove interesting, wonder how that will be interpreted?

Also at out next meeting a venue will be chosen for a Club outing on Thursday, 27th September….another interesting prospect.

So, pop into the Library at about 14.00 on Tuesday 11th and see what we’re about. Look forward to seeing you.
